EVENTS

The Northern Fibres Guild has regular monthly meetings, held on the second Tuesday of each month (Jan-June, Sept-Dec) at 7pm in the TC Richards Building at 302 Steele St. in downtown Whitehorse. You will find us downstairs!

In addition, the NFG regularly organizes workshops in the fibre arts, drawing on both local and outside artists and artisans as instructors.

Other events for NFG members include pot-luck socials in June and December, informal knitting circles and dye days, and an annual weekend retreat held in the spring. 

2024 is our 50th Anniversary and we have a lot planned!

    We met at the TC Richards  Atrium, shared tea and cake as well as showed off our latest projects. It was great to meet up with everyone!

Workshop at the retreat: The Poetics of Landscape
with Bettina Matzkuhn (www.BettinaMatzkuhn.ca)
The workshop will take place over the weekend,
Friday to Sunday. Maximum 12 participants​



Collective Art project
